Domestic Abuse Intervention Program (DAIP) is a twenty-nine consecutive weeks of creating a process of change for men who batter. An Orientation must be completed and a BIP assessment before starting this program (additional fee and one time orientation). The Duluth Model is a commitment to shift violence to non-violence. Batter's Intervention Program (BIP), curriculum is based on a intervention model. This model maintains a ongoing discussion between criminal and civil justice agencies, community members, and victims to close gaps and improve the community's response to battering.
